Summer has come to an end, or what we had of it anyway. The nights are getting a little darker and certainly a little colder, so get your onesie on and come join us on our girls night in. We can promise food, drink, facemasks, movies and girlie gossip.
There are two kinds of girls night in.
The first kind…
Some people might even think there’s a third kind…
Sorry lads…that’s really just in your imagination.
Right, let’s get started!
The PJ’s are on, the pizza is here (if you know Kirsty and I you’ll know there was no chance of us cooking) time to crack open the bottle. “Cheers!!”

Kirsty and I are always full of gossip, especially as we make our way through our bottle(s) of wine. We start with a full scale rant about work (don’t worry boss if your reading, we won’t name and shame anyone) and it gradually progresses to boy talk. I’m sure if you read Kirsty’s previous post about Tinder you can imagine she has plenty of stories to share. Some weird, some hilarious and some genuinely have me lost for words. Unfortunately for you lovely people, due to girl code I can’t disclose anything … muhahaha!
Wine going down nicely and the gossip in full swing it was now… selfie time!
I feel like I have a love/hate relationship with selfies. I mean, I take one almost every day so I should be a pro at getting angle just right and pout ‘on fleek’ but seriously, behind every decent selfie is at least 10 that didn’t quite make the cut onto facebook, and the ones that do, have an instagram filter… why do we do this to ourselves?? lol
I’m using the Herbalife SKIN clay mask and Kirsty is using Peter Thomas Roth, Sulfur Cooling Masque. We will be doing a review of these products along with some others from our skincare regimes in a few weeks.
Netflix at the ready, its time to choose a film. Kirsty and I have very different taste in films… which has just given me a flash back to a previous girls night in we had a few years back…
You will never guess what she made me watch…
The Human Centipede. Seriously!!?? I was not mentally prepared for this. If you haven’t saw it, lucky you. I wish my eyes could un-see it.
I’m much more of a light hearted comedy kinda girl for example, have any of you ever seen…. White Chicks?? Joke, sort of… *embarrassed emoji*
Anyways back to tonight and onto my favourite part… KARAOKE!!!
Now, I’m certainly no Whitney Houston, but let me tell you I gave that song my everything! (My throat didn’t appreciate it the next day). Kirsty on the other hand chose to do a bit of rapping with Kanye West. She was … eh… really good. *sarcastic emoji*
As much as I’d love to talk you through the rest of our night it all became a bit fuzzy from then on.
Thanks for a great time ladies!
See you next week
Love Emma & Kirsty xx
