I LOVE new make up day… I love it even more when there is a 3 for 2 offer on! #winning
A few days ago during another one of my shopping trips, I decided to step away from some of my ‘go to’s’ and instead try something new (just as well I have moved back with my mum for a few weeks or else my bank account would not be keeping up with these treats I keep getting myself).
I go through phases of brands that I love and right now my fave is Soap & Glory. The hand-creams, the body washes & scrubs … they all smell amazing. In fact the smell of the products bring back some hilarious memories of Kirsty and I in our old work. (ah… the good old days…)
I hadn’t tried any of Soap & Glory’s make up range until recently but I am really enjoying using these wee beauties.
This Brow Filling Pencil (£8) is literally the best brow product I’ve ever tried. It comes in 2 shades and has the pencil at one side and the brush at the other. It’s perfect for getting a natural, yet defined look and it is super easy to apply. You can’t really go wrong.
It looks great on it’s own but also if you finish off with a brow gel it lasts for hours.
Usually I go for a very thin liquid liner. I like the ones that are like a felt tip pen as I feel like they are by far the easiest to apply. When I saw this ‘fat’ pen I needed to give it a go. (£7)
Now, if I’m honest, after trying this out I probably wouldn’t buy it again. Only for the simple fact that I found it tricky to apply and couldn’t make my flick neat and smooth *sad face* I’m thinking if you prefer quit a dark, dramatic look then this is probably perfect for you.
However, I do know they also have a thinner option which is more up my street (£6)
Now there is no point on having a flick on fleek if you don’t have gorgeous lashes to match…
My next little treat is this mascara (£10.50). I might even like this better than the Benefit Roller Lash and it’s a fair bit cheaper too.
This mascara lasts all night, no smudging, no flaking, just perfect for batting those lashes to the lads. *wink emoji*
I already know what I’m trying next as I done a wee tester on my hand and loved the texture. “One Heck of a Blot” foundation (£10-£12) …Really wish I just got it when I first saw it.
Looking online I see that Soap & Glory have lots of make up products and I want to try them all…
Feel free to leave me a comment of any recommendations for my next splurge.
Love Emma & Kirsty xx
