Viva Brazil!!

Well hello my lovelies!

Last month we turned you into lean, mean training machines and this month….well, we’re being a little more realistic ; )

Emma and I are NOT gym bunnies; what we are though, is closet fatties!  Yeah we do the occasional spin class, sure we begin a squat challenge and bail out after 3 days but what we are committed to, is Belle Vie and everytime we do a food post, you little scranners love it!  So that’s what we are gonna do!

This week, to celebrate some birthdays (Emma’s on 6th, and 2 more birthdays in our clique) and a big juicy promotion in work for me (yippeeee!)  we all headed out to Viva Brazil on Bothwell Street in G-town.

Not only that- but our second highest views across the globe come from Brazil, so this is our little shout out to you Brazilian Belle Vie Beauts ❤

Viva Brazil aims to give you an authentic Brazilian dining experience and as soon as you walk in, the scent of charcoal cooked meats fills your lungs…YUM!

Bellies rumbling, we started off at the Salad Island and filled up on salad, sauces, pasta and a garlic mash so exquisite that we talked about it LITERALLY the whole evening!

Hold up though baby, don’t fill your boots on sides….the best is yet to come!!!

Viva Brazil does things a little differently by having servers who waltz about (not actually) the restaurant shaving off slices of glorious meat on to your plate.  I loved this because you get to try a little somethin’ somethin’ that you may not pick if you you had to commit to a full meal.  They have everything from chicken hearts (non for us please), to Brazilian Sausage and some cinnamon pineapple if you wanna indulge in a little something sweet!

My personal faves were the sirloin steak (medium rare and absolute perfection) and the chilli chicken- delish!  Of course we got a little sample of Brazil’s national drink, the caipirinha, so fresh and citrusy- it was the perfect refresher after indulging in ALL the meat and enough visits to the Salad Island to at LEAST burn off a couple of slices of meat (wishful thinking and absolutely not true).

Tip- go here with an empty stomach because I guarantee that you will over indulge!

Bellies full, belt buckles loosened and meat sweats in full effect, we called it a night and slept soundly with the memories of meat and garlic mash flavouring our dreams- delightful!

Viva Brazil, we liked you.  Brazilian Belle Vie fans, we adore you!

Love Kirsty xxx
