Here at Belle Vie we like to ball on a budget so although we’ll go all out on certain things, there are SO many different cosmetic brands that it would be DUMB to just stick to the Chanel’s, Dior’s & YSL’s of the world.  PLUS, a £400 face of make up for work seems like a bit of a dick move huh?

My go- to place for beauty hauls on a budget is Superdrug- and here are my top picks for brows, brush cleansers and cheekbone bling.

 Ok ok hands up who HATES cleaning their make up brushes?  Agreed.  Now turn that frown upside down because I am about to rock your world baby.

This wee baddie is Freedom Studio Solid Brush Bath and it’s going to revolutionise your brush bathing life!  Step 1- wet the brush, Step 2- Rub it in the brush bath, Step 3- work into your hand whilst running under water for completely sanitised brushes WHILST protecting the bristles!  You know that feeling when your brushes are fresh and your make up GLIDES on?  Well now you can have it every day with little to no hassle! Let’s not forget also honey, that using dirty make up brushes breaks you out and causes your skin NO end of issues from clogged pores all the way too….pink eye!!! I recently finished my Browzing from Benefit and although I enjoyed it, I thought I’d give this MUA Pro Brow Ultimate Eyebrow kit a chance- at £3.50 it was worth a shot right?

I bought Fair- Mid but there is a darker version aswell!  It has 3 shades (use the lightest to highlight under your arch) a setting gel, a tiny brow brush and tweezers for any strays between threading sessions : )  Personally, I use my normal sized angle brush to apply to my brows but mainly because I am too clumbsy (is that even how you spell that?!) to navigate my brows with such a tiny brush- but in a brow-mergency, the little one would work.  With the setting gel, your brows will stay on point all day and night- no messing! Last but not least, with highlighting and strobing not going ANYWHERE and with spring just around the corner here’s a little highlight to have that dewy skin that we are ALL dying for : )  Oh, and did I mention it’s only £3 ❤

I went for the Brightening highlighter but you can also go for the Glow option.  I use a stippling brush to apply this as it just lightly brushes over without looking too cakey- aint nothing worse than a strobe gone wrong honey, ya feel me?  Swoop some of this baby on the cheekbone, temples and nose bridge to make your base pop : ) Buy HERE
