Well hello there beauts!
Ok, so if you’ve been a long time reader of Belle Vie you will probably know 3 things about me (psst, it’s yer pal Kirsty)-
- I will put LITERALLY anything on my face if it promises clear and youthful skin
- You probably DON’T want to go on a Tinder date with me
- I looooooove me some burgers
Todays post is gonna focus on numero tres…so unbutton those jeans, take my hand and follow me sweetcheeks…
Bread Meats Bread on St Vincent Street (a stones throw away from my real life job, hurrah) has got a pretty strong reputation amongst the ever expanding burger scene in Glasgow. With so much competition it is IMPERATIVE that each spot brings something special and let me tell you sugarplum, BMB delivers every effing time.
So I step in with my homie and we sit down to eat….1 2×2 Cali Burger, 1 Butter Bacon Burger & a Classic Poutine por favor! (I apologize for all the Spanish today, I’m not sure why I keep doing it?)
First up babes, the Cali Burger *schwing
I went for the 2×2 mustard fried option and not 1 slice of me regretted it! Two relatively compact burger patties topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and secret sauce- I DIE for secret sauce!
This burger is perfect for when you are just looking for a standard burger; no bells and whistles, just a no- messing, hits the spot, tingles every taste bud, old fashioned burgerrrrr. It kinda reminds me alot of In-N-Out in the States, but obviously a higher quality of ingredients.
Cali- I loved every second that you were in and around my face. Don’t ever change baby…
Next up, the Butter Bacon Burger…
This wee baddie has bone marrow butter, Mull of Kintyre cheese, crispy onions & honey mustard mayo on a crispy lettuce bun….yowza!!!! I didn’t get a taste at this one but I can comfirm that my pal was not mad at his choice at all, not one bit…
Last but CERTAINLY not least beauts, let me introduce (or reintroduce if you’ve been to BMB before) to the Classic Poutine. Get your bib at the ready, you gonna be drooling baby….
This rather large plate of absolute smashing-ness is the Classic Poutine- it’s chips, it’s nice chunky cheese curds and it’s a whole lotta gravy…. ❤
This is JUST devine, it’s heavy but FML it’s insanely good! I’d deffo get it to share as eating a full one and a burger may result in death by gravy…
Speaking of which….look at allllllll the graaaaaaaaavy *swoons
They offer a BUNCH of different burgers and a BUNCH of different poutines so I can only comment on what I’ve tasted, but in the few times I’ve visited BMB, I have yet to be disappointed. Check out their Facebook and Twitter
Give it a try and when you wrap yer face round a Cali Burger, think of yer old pal Kirsty.
Till next time babes xx
