Happy Sunday beauts!!!
Aloe has and always will be our sunburn saviour. Nowadays it is used for all kinds of medical aid and some people even drink it *yuuuuuuuuuuuck
For the past few weeks I’ve been using aloe based products as my skincare and I wanted to share some of the highs and (A)low’s ; ) of the Forever Living skincare, follow me baby cakes…
Now let me first start of by saying this; recently I feel like there has been an EXPLOSION in the amount of people getting involved with what I guess you call ‘network marketing’. I have had a zillion friend requests from girls who message me relentlessly trying to recruit me to their ‘team’- focusing solely on earning potential and not ONE time mentioning the products, and I’m sure you’ve had the same- DESP. Actually I feel like this has put me off even looking at what products they sell. HOWEVER, Forever Living seems to be different. I know a few people who are part of it and not one time have they tried to force me into being part of the team. For these guys it’s all about the products, they love them, they believe in them, the let the products speak for themselves and actually that makes them significantly more appealing to me than any of the others (I’m looking at YOU younique).
I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Forever Living Pamper Pack for a few weeks and holyyyyyyyyyyyy smokes did I enjoy it! Lemme talk you through my faves!
First up…the scrub

This wee baddie was a DREAM for my dry skin. A little goes a long way and you massage in for about 3 minutes leaving baby butt smoothness! I’m funny with exfoliators as my skin can be sensitive but this was so gentle that I didn’t look like a tomato after I rinsed- which is pretty much a first for me! Thumbs UP!
Next up- my absolute FAVE

Filled with sea minerals (hence the name), soothing aloe and cucumber this little baby was a standout from my first use. I LOVED it! When I was on the train home from ‘real life job’ I actually looked forward to unwinding with this wee tube of gloriousness on my face to take away the stresses of the day. You know the snapchat filter that we ALL use- no not the dog one silly- the one that makes you look like you have the perfect face and skin- fire this on once darlin and you’ll feel like you just hit that filter HARD! Im serious. It’s my favourite face mask of ALL time!
Now your exfoliated and masked up, let’s moisturise baby-

This lotion is touted as a great primer for your make up however, for my skin, it just didn’t work. I have combination skin and perhaps I was a little heavy handed so I stopped using in day time and focused on night time. I always put a good amount of moisturiser on at bed time. Strangely I sleep on my face so I gotta load up on product so it doesn’t just rub off! This lotion used as a night cream for me really settled my skin through the night, evened it out and left me dare I say…FRESH FACED in the morning and not my usual puffy faced, pillow creased mess!
Botox in a bottle anyone???

This mask intrigued me. I LOVE a product that you need to prep, I feel like if you gotta put in a little work, then it MUST be good?! Mix up a little of the Mask Powder with a little Aloe Activator, stir it up and slap that baby pink paste on that beautiful face of yours. This mask was great, I used once a week as a booster to my bi- nightly marine mask obsession. When it’s on you can FEEL it working- heat surges through your skin and you can almost feel waves of movement as it tightens- and boy does it tighten! Great for giving you a wee boost before a night out if you wanna look rejuventated in all your drunken selfies!
Lastly,
With camomile, bee propolis and of course aloe; this soothing cream is great for skin conditions like psoriosis. For me, I used it a little differently. I recently had a minor (but sore none the less!) medical procedure thats left me with a little (but exceptionally annoying) scar. After my stitches were taken out I started using this morning and night to lubricate my skin and promote healing. After a few days the redness really settled and it almost felt like the thickness of this creme created a barrier between my skin and my clothes giving my scar time to heal- I guess its not the conventional use for it, but I’m not really a conventional type of gal babes : )

So there you have it, my ‘real talk’ review of Forever Living. If I’m 100% honest, I was sceptical at first but these products really did impress me. The masks in particular were are an absolute MUST purchase!
My girl Sam is a distributor and she uses ALL the products- she also has the worlds most perfect skin so if that aint proof enough, I don’t know what is! Hit her up on Facebook if you are interested in getting any info or purchases and she’ll hook you up girl!
Stay beaut babes,
Love Kirsty xxx
