Well well well beauts, it’s been some time since we’ve kiki’ed huh? In my last blog post I spoke you through my nose job and since then, I’ve been working, holiday’ing and more importantly trying to get my skin in check. If you’ve been reading for a while you’ll know my biggest problem (now I got my nose on fleek) is my skin. Every season brings it’s issues: summer oiliness, winter dryness, both of which lead to breakouts, hyperpigmentation, scarring and ALL the nonsense *cries.
However, fear not my beauty as I have an all natural, organic skin care line that’s about to blow yo damn mind boo. Let’s do this…
Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to marinical. An all new, all natural, luxury skin care line that’s going to give you that spa feeling on that beautiful face of yours all day erry day.
The brand value themselves on providing top quality products For the People, For the Planet and For the Animals. This means 100% natural active ingredients, no chemicals, eco-friendly packaging, cruelty free skincare that leaves you confident, healthy and your conscience clear- what could be better?

So, I get home with my box of brilliant-ness (few things excite me more than new skincare), I am ready for 6 steps of magic. You ready boo? Let’s begin…

Step 1- Melt the Day Away Cleansing Oil £25
This first step is a beautifully smooth cleansing oil that literally melts all of the make up away. With macadamia nut, coconut oil and grapefruit it’s the perfect balance in breaking everything down including eye make up (and baby my KIKO waterproof liner is generally indestructable). 2/3 pumps of this will have your whole face and neck submerged in silk- suitable for all skin types it removes all impurities and leaves your skin hydrated and baby soft. Absolutely beautiful.
Next up is my absolute favourite *swoons

Clean and Pure Detox Scrub £22
I love a scrub. Mainly because one of my main issues with my skin is texture. There’s nothing more destructive to a sassy gal’s confidence than bumpy, rough skin. It makes your make up look weird and it just sucks to be honest. Then there was this baby…
Filled with Himalayan salt, coconut milk and cinnamon, it tackles acne by drawing out impurities, resurfaces and soothes without drying out your skin. I think this works perfectly with the Cleansing Oil. I sometimes worry that oil will block my pores as I have super sensitive and reactive skin. So removing my make up with the oil and following up with this scrub is honestly a dream. For use up to 5 times per week- Tip about 1 teaspoon of the product into your hand, add a couple of drops of water and scrub away. This product is a dream, it smells like the sea and it’s like you can feel it working. Your skin feels electric once you rinse off and immediately you can feel the difference in your skins texture- delicious.
On the days you don’t use the scrub, you’ll move straight on to the Step 2. On scrub days, I use my scrub before moving on to this little magic potion…

Step 2- Balance and Prepare Tonic Mist £20
People often miss the importance of a good toner. I always find that after a good ole cleanse and scrub, a spritz will always help to build back up any hydration lost, and seal my pores. With aloe vera and raw apple cider vinegar, this soothes and heals while the malic acid from the vinegar continues to exfoliate and works on ridding your skin of dead cells whilst helping with age spots and scarring- perfecto. I spray liberally, then pat my face until I feel that it’s set in. Now we’re ready for some serum baby…

Step 3- Skin Nutrition Active Serum £42
Now, as someone with some serious combination skin (which actually is more on the oily side in summer) serums used to worry me. However, what you’re doing with serums is hydrating your skin enough so that it actually stops producing too much oil. So if, my combination comrade, you have been avoiding such things, embrace it and see how it can transform your skin.
With rosehip, carrot seed and sacha inchi (yeah I’d never heard of that either?) this serum is super light, does not clog your pores and is specifically formulated to balance your sebum production whilst treating hyperpigmentation (can I get an AMEN?!). I love putting this on at night, when I wake up my skin feels bouncy, my redness is reduced and I’m soft as a baby’s booty yo!
So now we’ve come to the last step in your new favourite daily skincare regime…

Repair and Protect Beauty Balm £36
Beauty balms are a girl’s new best friend (sorry diamonds, you out), why you ask? Because they can literally be used for everything. I don’t use this over my entire face, just on the targetted dry areas. I let the serum work its magic on my troublesome areas and just allow this beautifully thick and luxurious balm to work its magic where I need it most.
With mango butter, sea buckthorn berry and acai berry, this balm is PACKED to the brim with vitamins which target wrinkles, damaged skin cells and seal in the goodness to ensure optimum hydration with serious protection to keep that moisture locked in.
I use it alot- not just on my face. I use it on my cuticles, I’ve put it on my dry ends of my hair, I even put it on a tattoo that I’m in the process of getting lasered off (I’ll blog it when it’s done) to protect my skin after the trauma of the laser. The stuff is great, versatile and a little pink tub of perfection.
Ok… so that SHOULD be the end, and I know I’ve already got you to the sweet spot on marinical, but I have 2 more bonus products to finish you off and bring this baby home 😉

Bonus Step- Mineral Glow Clay Activating Mask £26
For use up to 3 times per week- this wee beaut is a delight, it really is. Pour about 1 teaspoon of product into your mask bowl (you can buy one on the website if you don’t have one already) and very carefully add a couple of drops of water (careful on this, the first time I added way too much and had to start over). Drop by drop of water, give the mask a good mix until you have your consistency (I like mine quite thick, but your call baby). Brush the pinky/ purple paste over your entire face (not eyeballs and lips obvz) and go zen out for 15/ 20 minutes while this baby gets to work.
With beetroot (hence the colour) maqui berry and mung bean- this mask was created to give you a natural collagen boost, repair and promote skin cell regrowth and all ingredients promote a youthful glow. So if you (like me) are starting to feel the worries of early aging signs, then this mask is about to be your new Bae.
So that’s the entire marinical face care range in a nutshell- but what about dat bod? We got you…

Bronze by nature Activated Tanning Oil £25
This oil, is dreamy. 100% natural pigmentation to give an instant glow, this oil can be used to give you a wee boost of bronze for a night out, used in the sunshine to enhance your tan (please use over your normal spf) or can be used to prolong your tan (its definately works- I kept my summer tan for 10 weeks using this). Immediately your skin looks glowy, like you’ve just stepped off the beach- a definate thumbs up from me! Just make sure you let it sink in before getting your kit on girl 🙂

So there you have it, your full run down of all things marinical.
This skincare is a gamechanger. Not because the packaging is cute (it’s definately the skincare line you place out on show, not hide in the cabinet with the Sudocrem and tampons), not because it’s 6 steps, but because you can literally see, feel, smell and touch the extensive love and care that’s been put into formulating every single step.
This skin care will help you, this skincare is helping the environment, this skincare is exquisite. If you are looking to treat yo’self to something a bit different, I really recommend you give marinical a try- I’d bet my bottom dollar that you will not regret it boo.
