Like most people in life, I like pizza.
Actually, it’s more than like. I am in love, adore, worship and live for pizza. I eat it at LEAST twice a week and consider myself a bit of an oracle when it comes to dining on that succulent, glorious, cheesy pizza pie.
Let me take you beauts on a trip to your new favourite pizza place….

Paesano on Miller Street in Glasgow is without a doubt, my favourite pizza place in Glasgow (sorry Bier Halle, I still love you too babes).
Step in and be greeted by some super cool interiors (the 10 grand Hollywood bulb lighting fixture is mesmerizing) and a smooth, laidback vibe. Bench style seating and an open kitchen means you can watch dem glorious pies being fired up whilst you await your feast!

A little Aranciata later (driving…boooo) and I’m ready to order…
Paesano offers a truly Napoletana pizza experience, this aint just a trip for a slice and some soggy chips baby- this pizza is made with loooooove.
It’s hybrid yeast and sourdough proofed for 48 hours before it even comes close to being cooked in 500 degree artisan wood fired ovens giving you a soft, light, juicy base that doesnt leave you feeling like a burst couch afterwards…. and we aint even added toppings yet!
We went for a number 2-Tomato sugo with mozzarella, fresh basil and evoo (that’s extra virgin olive oil to us commoners). Then a number 4- Spianata spicy salami, mozzarella, basil and evoo. Just LOOK AT THEM!!!!!
These pizzas are perfection. They really have it nailed…I’m about to real technical here.
The oil compliments the flavours- but not too much that it’s overpowering. The base is thin- but not too thin that you can’t pick it up and eat it NYC slice style. The cheese is thick- but not too thick that you don’t get that glorious ping back when you take a bite. The crust is thick- but not too thick that you need 700 dips just to lube it up. Am I getting too graphic?
What I’m trying to tell you sugar, is that this pizza is to die for.
We didn’t order any sides, so that meant we had room for dessert : )
My girl T went for the special- NY Cheesecake with ice cream. It was good….holy shit it was good.

I opted for a good old fashioned ice cream cone with raspberry sauce. I mauled that thing so hard I had sauce everywhere….seriously EVERYWHERE! It was a glorious throwback to my childhood and the perfect bit of sweet after an orgasmic bit of savoury!
Desserts spanked, and our plans to attend hot yoga that night a mere distant memory; I headed home; happy, sticky and sporadically spotted with raspberry sauce. Truly content.
Check their website HERE and like them on Facey HERE
Thanks for the good times Paesano, you will definitely be seeing me again ❤
Do you know any amazing pizza places that I can sink my teeth into for review? Hit me UP!!!!!
Love KBang xx
